How
Do Men
Feel
About Gifts
From Women?
What do you think? Do men like to be chased by women?
Are men harder to impress than women? Chasing a man would depend on
what you want to happen when you catch him. There is a certain type of
male who does not mind being chased or kept by a woman and others who
are not up for it.
A man’s
nature is to be in the hunt. “This
is a man’s world,” best describes his attitude,
subtle or
bold. Chances of him responding to your chase is slim. He will avoid
you because he is not the one in control.
If you are giving a
gift for a special occasion, he can
handle that. Some men may think it is a girly thing, giving too many
gifts. After a while they won’t enjoy it as much as the
women.
Unique gifts go over big, for example, if he is a golfer, a golfing
journal. If he is a motorcycle rider, why not give him a motorcycle
pen.
Putting notes in
places where he might be surprised to
pull one from, will surely bring a smile to his face. The note approach
is more about thoughtfulness and doesn’t really infringe upon
his
manliness. Men are more open to receive gifts from women they are
involved with, dating or married to.
The emotional male,
usually raised by a woman may be
more apt to get excited about receiving gifts from a woman, than the
male raised with a father’s presence and influence in the
home.
Men want to stay
close to what their idea of being a man
is because that is comfortable. The emotional response of receiving
gifts may disappoint you but that is who he is. Women and men react
different to the same acts. What excites him is your response to the
gifts he gives you. That really makes a splash in his heart.
So focus on the
unique for special occasions,
don’t expect an over abundance of exuberance, know that you
did
tickle his heart.
If
you are giving a gift to forge a stronger bond,
or to hold a relationship together, it is just a matter of time, if
that is all that is keeping it together.
