Keep You Safe
What are some party ideas for Friday night. You have
worked all week. Your friend calls you up and invites you to go to a
club, or your local pub. Are you going to have a few drinks and unwind,
or are you going there in the hopes of meeting someone? There is
something alluring about the bar-club scene, loud music, the lights,
people scoping each other out.
This is a question
that few people ask themselves before
they go out for an evening of what is suppose to be fun: what is my
purpose? What do I expect to happen at the end of the night? Your
purpose determines your outcome. If you want to have a few with your
friends to release the tension of the day, no problem. With the
drinking laws the way they are today, either you or your friend need to
set a limit, unless you are in walking distance of the bar-club.
This is probably
the fastest way to find relationships.
What type of people go to bars and clubs? The same as you, those
trolling for whom they can get busy with for an evening and kiss off
tomorrow, or may be even that same night. If you are a regular and they
are a regular, it could become awkward over time when you each choose
someone else to spend the night with.
Bars and clubs are
places people go to drink, listen to
music, meet others, dance, talk, maybe have sex for a night and move
on. So if you are looking to meet someone who wants a serious
relationship, skip the bar scene; this is a bad party idea.
Okay. You like the
bar-club scenes and no matter what,
you are going to keep on going. In that case you need to know how to
prepare for a night of bar-club hopping. Ask a friend to go with you.
Place limits on your drinking, if you are driving. You may want to call
a taxi and leave your car. Plan to leave together no matter how
attractive the offer. Do not leave your drinks unattended at any time.
Remember, if you
hook up, don’t expect to walk
down the aisle, it is what it is. Practice safe sex, or no sex because
you may never see each other again.
