Women Are Tired of the Pick Up Lines

Pick up lines can be creative ways to introduce yourself to break the ice. Have you ever wondered where these lines come from when you hear the same ones over and over? If you are on your game, you customize the line for each person you meet.

There are women who like pick up lines because they tend to be flattering and she likes to be flattered. If used right it is good for a smile and will open the door to a conversation. If a woman is beautiful, your pick up line won’t impress her, men are always talking about her looks, so try something else. You won’t get very far with her because she is tired of hearing about how beautiful she is.

“Do you play tennis?” would be a good question. No matter which way she answers, if you play tennis, you can move the conversation. If she says she does and you don’t, you can ask if she would be willing to teach you.”

Another question with shock value: “Do you date married men?” The answer will probably be no. You can respond with, “Why not?” Move the conversation along. Experiment with a few lines to see what works best for you.

Be creative. Pick up lines can be a great way to open doors to new relationship.

Share pick up lines you have used and which ones have been used on you. Thought I would share a few to get the ball rolling.

Men pick up lines:

“I didn’t know rain could be so beautiful.”
“Tell me you’re not married because I’ll be forced to murder him”
“Is there anyone sitting here?”
“Are you waiting for someone?”
“Stop looking at me with those eyes because they’re irresistible.”
“Are you Jackie?”

Women pick up lines:

“You are fine.”
“You want to dance?”
“Can I buy you a drink?”

Breaking the ice to communication between men and women has been called a "pick up line" because it should not be taken seriously. Conversations that start this way may not lead to your expectations. It should open the door and if it is meant to go somewhere, then it will. Don’t get your hopes up that this is going to lead to a committed relationship.
